The Starfish User Group (SFUG) is continuing the tradition of meeting at the annual Super Computing event (SC26). If you haven't participated in the event before, the SFUG is a collaborative community of users, system administrators, and educators who work with Starfish Software solving some of the most challenging issues in unstructured data management for data that spans billions of files and hundreds of PBs.
Join us for a dynamic, customer-led Starfish strategy conversation centered on large scale file management best practices as well as an opportunity to learn about some of the newest features or get early access to pre-release features.
Whether you're a long-time Starfish customer, just getting started on your data-wrangling journey, or want to learn how others in your field are getting control over their unstructured data, you are welcome to attend.
New Location, New Format
The Starfish User Group has traditionally followed the same format each year: everyone gathers for breakfast, then settles in for a full slate of presentations from the stage.
This year, we are tailoring the User Group experience into smaller breakout sessions that attendees can self select to attend:
Zones
Starfish Zones create bespoke experiences for each user, providing access to only the data that's relevant to them. This year, we borrowed that idea for the user group itself.
Instead of one continuous track from the stage, the morning is split into Zones - separate, concurrent conversations happening at the same time. Just like the product feature, you don't have to move through everything in order. You go straight to the zone with the content you actually want.
There's no fixed order and no assigned seating. Zones rotate every 45 minutes, but you're not locked to the clock - spend the whole morning in one, or move between all of them.
